He is an aviation professional with over two decades experience and has been a key leading figure at the forefront of TAAG´s ongoing transformation into a customer centric airline, while correspondingly building a sustainable path towards profitability. Miguel is passionate about aviation in Africa and excels at identifying business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and growing passenger, cargo and ancillaries' revenue thru a mix of brick and mortar as well as digital strategies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation business administration, with area of concentration in airline management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida, an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, as well as a postgraduate degree in strategy and innovation from the University of Oxford.
