Murat is the Managing Director of ELR UAE and Travel Retail and is part of the ELR Executive Management team. He has over 20 years of management experience in the F&B industry and Retail across the USA and Turkey with experience in strategy, travel retail, business development and operations.

Prior to ELR Murat held the position as Managing Director at M.H. Alshaya in Turkey for 7 years, where he has responsible for 15 different brands including Starbucks, Pinkberry as well as Bath and Body Works. He spearheaded a complete turnaround of Alshaya Turkey, utilizing strategic focus, eCommerce, management empowerment, staff training tools with his emphasis on a “service first” mentality. His commercial acumen and leadership skills enable him to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

He holds multiple degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Switzerland, Turkey and the USA
