Nick Ashton is an airline industry veteran of 15 years, who made his way into Travel Tech in 2021. With experience gained across the world at airlines such as British Airways, Qatar Airways Virgin Australia and Vueling, his specialisation has been in airline partnerships and alliances, with a particular focus on intermodality. Nick is a champion of collaborative working, determining how to reach optimal outcomes with a variety of stakeholders from different backgrounds and cultures. Currently, Nick is the Global Airline Lead for the Protect Group where he is leading the charge to develop customer-centric 3rd party ancillary strategies with some of the biggest airlines in the world and their tech providers.
