Akie Chhabra was formerly the Sales Director - Africa at Embraer Commercial Aviation – he was responsible for all activities relating to sales, marketing & business development of commercial aircraft in the continent. He worked within the Middle East & Africa division of Embraer Commercial Aviation which looked after over 80+ customers in the region and manages a portfolio of 300+ aircraft – some of the notable carriers that we work with in the region include Airlink, Kenya Airways, Fastjet, Air Peace, FlyNamibia, Royal Air Maroc as well as Air Cairo (to name a few). The MEA team that Mr Chhabra forms a part of are proud to showcase a whole host of regional aircraft to the continent ranging from 37-seater ERJ135’s all the way to state-of-the-art 124-seater modern generation E2’s; the objective as a team is to improve African connectivity, amplify air access & continue to educate the market about fleet rightsizing.

Outside of Akie’s time at Embraer, he is a proud dual-national multi-lingual MBA graduate with a deep passion for running, kickboxing, the outdoors & mountain biking; he has been to over 60 countries and would like to visit 100 countries before he turns 40 years of age.
